400 Choir Members Of Eastern Cluster Dioceses Rehearse For Martyrs Day 400 Choir Members Of Eastern Cluster Dioceses Rehearse For Martyrs Day

The ten (10) Anglican Dioceses under the Eastern Cluster will lead the Martyrs Day celebrations and prayers at the Anglican Site.     

Each of the dioceses has presented 40 members to be part of the joint choir, making a total of 400 members. This big choir has been doing rehearsals at the newly completed Amphitheatre ahead of Martyrs Day on 3rd June 2023.

COU Family TV interacted with the Rt. Rev. Micheal Esakhan Okwii, the Bishop of Kumi Diocese is the overall supervisor of the choir. He said that the choir will present songs and dances in all the cultures of Uganda but with an emphasis on Eastern Uganda.
